I think the writers of the Constitution never really considered that the American people would vote enough for a corrupt authoritarian-aspiring clown to get him/her into office. Rather shortsighted on their part, especially considering their “solution” of an Electoral College.

Agreed. No one wants to squint past the dancers in the foreground to see the list; I don’t know why they insisted on doing it this way again.

There shouldn’t be anything else going on on-stage while this is running.  Just run the video.  Nothing should distract from the remembrance.

Dude all up in the comments section on the AV Club hates nerds.

I disagree with that.  That’s commonly spread, but most shows including Moonlighting do not rely on a will they/won’t they tension.  Sam and Diane got together at the end of the first season.

I was never a fan from day 1 and even I felt season 2 was a notable downgrade and I'm not even gonna hide my approval it died.

Sure, that’s fine! The first like 5 episodes of the new season were less ‘romcom’ and more ‘Abusive romance that hits the same beats over and over again with a bit of comedy thrown in’, though.

Ok you’re right, I’m specifically instructing you on what you should and shouldn’t like.  Obviously when I express my opinions I expect everyone should follow them, that’s how it works since you’re all NPCs.

I feel that I made it very clear that these are my own personal opinions, but if you feel the need to consider me an authority on which shows should continue and which shouldn’t I won’t stop you.

I’d say the second season was tolerable. There were good parts but the romance stuff was dragged out waaay too long. I was gonna stop watching it after episode 5 but then Calypso’s Birthday was actually really good.

The only issues with his plan are:

The author writes: Of course, that had an adverse effect on winners and presenters discussing bravery and uplifting voices through their work as they did their best to ignore what was going on outside.”

Biden won the popular vote in the primaries by a big margin. It’s not just delegates he won big with, it was the voters.

“Hate” is such a strong word but if that’s how you feel, that’s how you feel. I really like and admire him and if you feel like reading why a guy named Cunty McCunty does, here goes: I am a Democrat. Have voted almost exclusively for Democrats for over 30 years. I do not know Joe Biden and can only speak from what I

This also speaks to something I mentioned upthread. Specifically, social media-style interactions have conditioned so many of us to seek small hits of validation from people we ought not give a shit about past the general ID of “Yep, that’s ostensibly a human being.” Flip side is that a withholding of that validation

My post mentioned no complaints. I’m not infuriated with Biden’s overall performance, all things considered*.

I’m mainly a fan of the (somehow) refreshing tack of saying “Here, this is exactly how the GOP is deliberately trying to fuck up policy you like, and here’s specifically who.”

I’m honestly kind of impressed that The Senator from MBNA didn’t totally sell us out to big corps and has actually done some stuff for regular people.

A couple of things stand out:
