People have the right to own guns
People have the right to own guns
Yeah, obvious case of Standing his Ground, Castle Doctrine. Other driver wasn’t a visible minority by any chance?
And this is what you get in a society that fetishizes guns.
It just makes you feel worse, because you are reinforcing your feelings of anger and a grudge, but letting the asshole breeze on by with a smile and going back to humming along with the radio kinda helps you feel like the world isn’t that bad really. At least, that is how I always feel these days.
I’m there too. The older I get the more I realize it’s not worth it to fuck with strangers. The next guy could be this shining example of the human race.
I really need to remember this....because you’re right.
It’s Florida. You can gun people down with impunity and it will always be “Self Defense”. Provided they are the “wrong kinds of people”.
same. I just kinda wave at assholes now. I’m sure they know I’m being sarcastic, but I’m not being aggressive either.. passive aggressive, I guess, but whatever. - like you said, “Ain’t worth it”
Since we’re comparing Grandmothers - my American Grandma shot a man on the side of the road in the central valley back in the 30s. Apparently her and a friend were hitchhiking, caught a ride with a man, and when he started following them on foot after dropping them at the side of the road they realized his intentions…
I used to be all about flipping people off if they tailgated me or cut me off, etc. Now I just let things roll because in the last 30-ish years since I got my license road rage has gone from getting the bird back at you to this kind of shit. Ain’t worth it. Let the other idiot think they win - at least you can walk…
I love how he is all badass until he lets off the first shot then cowers.
It’s okay, according to our Supreme Court, this jackass is a “well regulated militia”. Freedom upheld!
Your grandma sounds like a badass.
I was thinking my grandma could control a gun better than this guy.
He’ll be elected to our Florida Senate next cycle I’m sure.
This is the society you get when you treat firearm ownership as an inalienable right, rather than a privilege with responsibilities.
He looked like a total badass. The control of his weapon points to adequate training. Glad he’s armed and spraying our highways for justice.
Copyright law is already better in the US. The problem is that in many countries (like Japan) there effectively no such thing as fair use. Owners have all the power.
Copyright law needs to be MASSIVELY rewritten.
