I was fortunate in that i had older brothers that educated me on the “backwards” threads. Always had to remember it when switching to studded winter tires in November, and back to the A/S(?) bias-ply tires in late April.

Oh, that would be annoying. Especially if you didn’t know it was rev. threaded. A buddy of mine got an almost new miter saw with a bad blade for $20. The arbor nut is reverse thread and was REALLY tight. He figured the previous owner sold it because he didn’t know how it threaded and couldn’t change the blade.

After 20+ years in education, I have learned never to underestimate the stupidity of people.

My buddy has an ex-wife that’s a loose nut.  The indicators were a little different.

I don’t even know what he means by saying people forgot about colds and the flu. Like, generally, if you don’t have either of those illnesses, you don’t think about them. Does that mean you forgot they exist?

I believe the reasons you explained is why Kareem got on him. It’s fine if you have those thoughts, but to just post (not even a temporal story) with such caviller… these black capitalists keep getting conflated with black revolutionaries.
