This is one of the only big games in the modern era that doesn’t have an adjustable difficulty though. Until Nintendo creates one (and they've done it before) an occasional cheat is far from "debug mode." And I would hope if they're paying enough attention to see these glitches, they're also noticing reaction to how

I think that’s a good analogy. As an old man, I am much more comfortable playing a game on “easy mode” because I won’t have time to repeat things over and over, either by grinding for resources or repeating difficult sections after dying. Metroid Dread only became playable for me after the easy mode was created, for

I feel like the game has enough content that it didn’t need rupee throttling like they increased from Breath. Especially when you’re an adult.

Just made a mad dash for my Switch. Hooray! Automatic Updates already set to OFF. Huzzah!

The problem is Nintendo decided to decrease the rupee gain rate while also increase the rupee cost rate for just about everything in Tears.  Its really noticeable.

From kept nerfing weapons that were allowing players to break the game and have fun. Same thing. They nerfed Mimic Tear too.

What skill is involved in mindless grinding for hours just to afford an armour upgrade?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot since the glitch became available- truthfully, I’m having WAY more fun playing the game without the artifical retrictions of low battery because I haven’t farmed 7000(!) zoneite to max out my pack, or worrying that I won’t have enough fans when I need them out of the blue while

I disconnected my Switch from the internet the moment the duplication glitches were found. The Great Fairy is charging inflation prices. I don’t have time to farm rupees and zonaite.

I don’t understand why developers do it. The glitch is an entirely optional action on the part of the player. If somebody wants to play the game “correctly”, then they will. If somebody wants to mess around, then they can do that with the glitch.

I wouldn’t be surprised if someone ghostwrote this response to do better and just said, “Here publish this.”

“Designers from different backgrounds produce diverse content, not just the same old tropes.”

I physically reeled when I hit the second part of Dancey’s response. Like while I thought the first part was deeply condescending and didn’t speak well of the man, at least I got the general point he was trying to make. The female designers he has heard pitches from are not for the kinds of games his company

Squaresoft investors looking at the new IP that’ll be cancelled in less then a year after they sold off all their well regarded ones to try to get into the NFT market

Dancy certainly put his foot in his mouth, but I do understand some of his points.  No women can’t be catagorized into a box of certain types of games (i’ve seen women designers who made games with spaceships and robots) but the game world has a small margin for profit and taking a risk on an idea that isn’t going to

10 bucks says the edgy, anti-capitalist game has a Battle Pass and is filled with microtransactions.

Fairgame$ is very cringey, it really gives me “Capitalists will sell you the rope used to hang them” vibes

WAIT, A NEW MARATHON?!?!? IS BUNGIE FINALLY GOING TO MAKE GREAT SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGNS AG...

The Halo maker is returning to its sci-fi series Marathon

What a missed opportunity.
