The point of the game is the grind. You fight monsters to get better gear to fighter stronger monsters to get even better gear. That’s the whole thing. If you’re into that, you’ll love it. I’ve sunk like... 600+ hours into it myself lol.

I’ve played a whooooooole lot of pvp since it dropped and it hasn’t changed the landscape in any significant way from my perspective beyond being super fuckin cool. it’s ttk is FAR from instantaneous in it’s current iteration. 

But it also has the tradeoff of not being a near instantaneous OHK. Sure, you can clean up with it but it’s hardly the press-button-get-kill machine that other heavies are. If it hit as hard as it did in D1 crucible I’d say maybe 51 shots would be too much but I think it’s fine right now.
