Is there a reason this new Ratchet and Clank Game is so cheap? I love the R&T series but I've only bought the home console games so far.

Actually, I think it IS the beginning of a new era in gaming. I figure this past generation (primarily the Xbox 360 and PS3) really brought about the interconnectivity of players and greater access to content with their online services. And this new generation (starting with the Wii U and Vita) further that…
Somehow that sounds like the perfect game to bring back the Graffiti mode from the Tony Hawk games...
Achievements and DLC have essentially replaced unlockables unfortunately :/. I don't outright hate either but it's pretty clear that achievements were basically conceived to give player the feeling of gaining something despite them having nothing to show for it in game. I would very much like to get cool things for…
Despite all the info I got wrong in my original post, thanks for the response! Glad someone was able see a bit of what I was trying to get at. A little more transparency between ratings boards and the public couldn't hurt.
Yeah, I got my info all messed up here. My mistake. Also got the RIAA confused with the MPAA some how. Either way, thanks.
See my reply to ThiSpaceForRent.
It's not. And I never meant to imply that the government should RESTRICT the content we're able to access, only rate it for public consumption. Realistically, that's probably too big a shift from the current system so I'd be a lot happier with the RIAA and ESRB just being more open with us about how they rate media…
What I really dislike about ratings in general is that they're are decided by a for-profit, corporate entity. With games we have the ESRB, with film we have the RIAA. Both have closed door rating procedures that the public can only guess at.
Mario KArt isn't the worst thing around but basically every other arcade/kart racer since MK64 has it beat.
I shouldn't have laughed should I? I actually feel bad that I did. Honestly though, the kid was gonna end up in tears either way...
FREE FOR ALL, FREE FOR ALL. GRIFBALL, GRIFBALL. NEED THEM, NEED THEM. CAPS LOCK NECESSARY.
Ugh, I know you pain. I got a dose of both horribly behaved little children and actual babies when I went to go see Twilight (I can explain! Ya see...) this past weekend. I'm sure I would've been a lot more upset had I gone to see a movie that was actually any good but they were crying, talking, and making all kinds…
As annoying as they can be, you can't really help having babies on a plane. In movie theater though...
Yeah, I'm also in the camp that believes that a lot of these funny things we consider rights are really just privileges granted to us by the government but I use the term "rights" colloquially for simplicity.
An option that is representative of a group of people actively seeking to have their rights recognized in the US and abroad. Of course, video game marriage could be considered trivial in comparison to the real deal but by choosing to wait for petitions or general public protest SE has shown that it fears public…
Fear itself isn't a choice but how one addresses it is. I figure SE's decided not to include gay marriage right of the bat for fear that it could lose them a significant amount of sales. Are there figures to back up that fear or is it just a gut feeling? I know no one here could answer that question but I think it…
Why is it controversial? They could've included and not said a word unless prompted and I'd bet no significant number of people would care. It can't mean much more than shifting some code, yea? I can't imagine it being all that complex or costly to implement.
Folks airburshing their Facebook pictures? Jeez, that's a bit excessive. As a photographer (but not much of a photo editor beyond light and color), I don't like airbrushing and other drastic photo-alterations but I can only really bring myself to be annoyed when it's done poorly or done to the point where the subject…
If you're gonna spell a word wrong, you gotta spell it right! It's "ho"! Once upon a time, I thought Harvard was a place where folks could get an edjuhmacation.
