While I agree that JRPGs are generally a lot more structured, there's still PLENTY to miss especially if you don't have a guide handy. Of course, you'll be given all or most of the main story stuff by just playing the game but sidequests, which, depending on the game, can actually be very emotionally engaging can be

I'm not one for cinematic trailers pre-rendered or real-time but that was fantastic! Hats off to everyone involved.

Agreed so hard. The only thing that this new LP has over the old ones seems to be a solid story (though the OOTness of the first one was kinda awesome if not ridiculously disjointed). The adventurous feeling is gone along with the interesting weapons and the grappling hook. And while I'm not usually a fan of giant

Show of hands; Those of you who plan on getting a MH game soon, will it be MH3U or MH4. If you choose the former, for what console?

While I understand the concept, in practice (at least the way Microsoft has set things up) it doesn't play out. You've got all these ESRB M rated games getting pushed up a year on the PEGI scale and so they can't be sold in PAL regions. I really don't get what MS is thinking...

That sounds ridiculous. It's not a big deal to me exactly but how exactly are M games allowed but PEGI18 games not?! That makes no sense whatsoever.

I am curious, what has been the most popular MMO available on consoles? My gut really wants to say FFXI by a large margin but I'm sure that more than a little bit of my bias is showing there. Nothing else really comes to mind when it comes to a "standard for console MMOs"

Not a simple filter. If I had to guess:

And puts a boot on the xbox so it can't drive away.

I guess it's kind of hard to describe. It's not just difficulty but how much I feel that I'm actually doing something that takes skill. Well, that and the fact that screens are generally delicate and I can't mash on them like I can a controller or dance pad.

Wow, um, marry me? I mean, wait...

"I want to massage someone's prostate goddamnit!"

You know, I have an issue with these new touch screen rhythm games. I dig the idea of interactivity but they don't seem to require the involved dexterity of DDR, Beatmania, or similar games played with a controller. Something about them just seems to lack intensity. I know that when I play DDR or Stepmania (controller

Been a fan for a while now and I absolutely LOVE her work. As a photographer I wish I had that kind of vision...

More worthy, I couldn't say but I definitely think it's a point that should be taken into consideration. I won't pretend to know how the TV business works but imagine you've got a well written comedy that does nothing particularly new or interesting up against one of Issa Rae's projects. Perhaps the unoriginal comedy

Actually, there's a very good chance your computer COULD handle the game. A friend of mine owns the game and plays is on a significantly weaker laptop than yours and it runs just fine on the lower settings. I guessing you wouldn't even have to bottom out the graphical settings to get a smooth experience. If you really

I am 99% positive that the fan games will blow anything Gameloft has out of the water. Fighting is Magic and PonyKart are looking pretty fantastic.

I've been conflicted over the usage of the term in this context but you definitely straightened things out for me. I dig the way you think.

I agree that the show isn't funny and I also agree that it's got a lot of racial content but I don't see a problem with the latter. She's trying to convey some sense of how she's experienced her life based on her gender and race. That's part of the point.

This 100%. Part of the reason I could never get into the show. I'd see so many people saying all these good things but it's like everyone is channeling Nicholas Cage or something.
