As an engineer, I don’t see it that way. First, I have them doing independant research and coming up with the basic principles on their own. Then I have them taking 30 year old technology and modernizing and improving it. Then taking it to a new level with the other toys they made.

I’ve never liked Romero’s portrayal of the military in Day. The movie has some great scenes, but his portrayal of the military as basically the bikers from Dawn in camouflage has never worked for me.
