I think Red Skull will return as an unwilling agent of Thanos in Infiniti War. He’ll be who the Avenger’s thinks is the main bad guy, as RS tries to steal the Infiniti gems. And then Thanos shows up.
In the long term, there is a risk of the romantic relationship taking a back seat to kids, career, PTA, chores and all the other things that come up every day. Happens a lot.
