Do you know how much training the average police officer has? Three months in the academy and their yearly qualification. Almost all police forces have NO required range time or refresher courses. Unless they join SWAT, they are only required to fire their weapon in practice once a year.

Those are the choices you choose to have. Everything else is an excuse.

The only thing that is like being in an active shooter scenario is being in an active shooter scenario. Sure.

The idea of forceably or even voluntarily arming teachers is short sighted and foolish.

I hate when people use cringe worthy, stupid points to back up any argument. It’s like watching a professional pitcher throw a pitch into the stands.

We should all agree to have a Sadie Hawkins year where women have to make ALL the initial approaches. No guy is allowed to ask a woman out for one year.

The US has a serious problem with patent trollstrolls (file a very broad patent for the sole purpose of suing people who violate it). US copyright laws are more of a mess thanks to Disney making sure Mickey Mouse will never fall into public domain.

A successful free market requires a stable environment and strong property rights.

Ask yourself why an entire resource rich continent with a ready and willing labor force has not been able to recover from the effects of 1800’s colonialism and reach any kind of real prosperity for its people (outside of South Africa and few isolated pockets).

It’s a necessity for the short term. But without IP and real property laws that are enforced, there is a severe barrier to lasting success and any kind of building of wealth.
