Teachers are already the number one target when a shooter enters a classroom of kids. Because once the teacher is eliminated, the kids are helpless. Doesn’t matter if the teacher is armed or not. Still the first target

Do you know how much training the average police officer has? Three months in the academy and their yearly qualification. Almost all police forces have NO required range time or refresher courses. Unless they join SWAT, they are only required to fire their weapon in practice once a year.

Those are the choices you choose to have. Everything else is an excuse.

The only thing that is like being in an active shooter scenario is being in an active shooter scenario. Sure.

The idea of forceably or even voluntarily arming teachers is short sighted and foolish.

Ive wondered for years where the grease comes from. When I make my own pizza at home (Alton Brown dough recipe, quality pasta sauce and shredded cheese), there is zero grease. Maybe that’s why I inhale pizzaria slices. The added grease.

Good thing there’s always someone around to object when someone raises a tangential issue to the topic being discussed. Especially on a message board where literally dozens of other conversations on the original topic are happening simultaneously.

There’s another aspect of this story that is being largely ignored. The complete failure of Zero Tolerance policies, the moral cowardice of school administrators, and the criminalization of normal childhood behaviour.

What if they just buy a cheap burner cell and give that number to the app? And when the company texts the burner, they reply as if they were you? So that you never even know that a profile for you was created and have no way of defending yourself.

If I remember Confuscious correctly, an abusive parent such as you describe has failed in their duty to their children and then has no right to expect the children to fulfill their duty to the parent. Each tier of Confuscious heirarchy is a tw0-way street where one expects fielty for having given it.
