Wait, wait, wait, wait.......they brought the villains back from the dead so they could imprison them on an island. And then let them procreate. That is next level fucked up. That is more evil than any of the villains’ evil plots. I’m suddenly impressed.

The problem is finding an audience. Music is a much more crowded field than the nearest equivelent model, self-publishing books.

I’ve had long arguments with people about Starship Troopers. My position is, you have to remember that the story is being told from the point of view of someone who is fully indoctrinated and invested in the system he is praising.

If I lived “Oops, we were aiming at Taiwan” distance away from China, I’d want my own full size military too, not just a WWII treaty sized “peace-keeping force”.

When they are standing next to each other in the same shot, Lawless is standing on a box.

It’s really very simple. Guys will make a couple dozen advances, at least, to get oe positive response that leads to going for drinks.

The actress was an athlete and volley ball player. They had to play down the fact that she was both taller and more built than Lucy Lawless.

Every rape allegation should be investigated thoroughly. But, every allegation should not be front page news coverage. Our legal system is based on the assumption of innocence until proven guilty. But in our media heavy world, just the publication of allegations can destroy someone’s life.

Comicbook Venom is the jock bully to Spiderman’s skinny nerd. For the movie, they decided they wanted Venom to be a straight up dark, evil copy of Spiderman. For that vision, Topher was the right choice.

Very dramatic, but I think it more likely that he decides being there at the exact moment that Gallifrey disappears will let him collect data he needs to find it again. He will basically crash the party.

I just finished the book. The book was horrendously bad. I read it critiquing it like Cinema Sins.

So, Crisco and sugar, like I’ve always been told. No biggie.

The superhero trope goes beyond what modern medical science can accomplish to what could be considered “magical” healing of things that are incurable. Like death. If someone had an ability to heal far exceeding what medical science could accomplish, would they have a moral obligation to use it as much as possible? If

People in Brooklyn will tell you they are from Brooklyn. People from Queens will tell you they are from Forest Hills, or Ridgewood or Middle Village or Rego Park. Because neighborhood pride. When people hear NYC, they think of Manhattan. When the majority of New Yorkers live in the other 4 boroughs.

I know some things get hinted at. Like Bruce Wayne is known as a big philanthropist. And we he went public in Batman Inc. He bought the GCPD a state of the art crime lab.

They’ll be a seen where Bourne tries to explain the truth to him and Jones just says “I don’t care” and tries to shoot him.

Which brings up a problem with Comics in general. If you have the ability to heal people and spend your days fighting crime instead of walking through hospitals curing everyone you can lay hands are, are your actions immoral?

That’s an exaggeration. The ecosystem will recover just as it would if the lion died of old age, a disease or a stronger rival lion killed him. Short term pain, long term recovery and moving on.

I can turn off my brain and enjoy dumb action. I can’t turn it off an enjoy bad jokes.

If it included getting Sandler’s money, I’d laugh all the way to the bank.
