Rakugo is one of the best things to come out of anime in years. Can’t recommend it enough.

This is an excellent recommendation. Everybody should watch Planetes, but nobody should ever cough up the ridiculous price it costs to buy it.
HUNTING FOR YOUR DREEEEAMS
Nice read— even brings back some memories of my own. I think this is one of the reasons why I look back on the .hack// games for the PS2 with fondness.
It’s not “case closed,”
It’s also a good nod to an ongoing gag where the players, at each and every new character reveal, ask Blizzard to put Deathwing in the game.
No
(small spoiler) Superman knows it’s not actually Batman— it’s Clayface— who can’t be killed like that
please god somebody make one to the effect of “the juggalo march on washington”
They’ve got way more than enough episode to dub to keep it up for more than the next year. There’s just short of 150 episodes total, and they’re only *maybe* half way through right now.
More Mario games should have him using a plunger (or plunger-based device, like shown above)— what gives? You’d think he’d be carrying one around with all those pipes he goes in.
holy shit, watching the bits of mo-cap that dafoe did in the credits made the whole thing entirely worth it— look at this:
Now if only they’d give Roy a tribute to his deal ol’ dad in his animation (or go back and give Eliwood one)
oh no, i love bears
I stand corrected. Still, though, my point was that only Goku largely uses it, with this one exception. Everybody else just moves really fast.
Correct— I should’ve specified. The first time Goku uses the Instant Kamehameha, Cell is taken completely off-guard because he didn’t know he could do that. Once he saw it, he was able to reproduce it himself.
Cell was able to do it not because of Goku’s genes, but because he saw him do it. Cell was a ridiculous enough combatant that he could learn shit like that just from seeing it once. Originally, he couldn’t, which is why he was taken off-guard (1:32):
yep, lil pink dudes
No, he’s got it right. Most people just move really, really fast to do that teleport-like thing. Goku is the only one who can literally teleport— it’s how he gets the jump on Cell a number of times because he can’t track him.
(BUT ACTUALLY, insufferable DBZ nerd correction: only Goku can use instant transmission, which he learned from aliens after the Frieza saga. Everybody else just goes really, really fast, making it appear that they teleported to our slow, stupid human eyes).
