Ooh! That's a great idea. Maybe a Zombieland theme.

And you'd travel in time, seeing dinosaurs in their natural state, if Twilight Zone is to be believed.

I don't think it's a bad word to stick in front of a CEO's salary that's less than many middle-class New Yorkers make (no joke). It really is hard to get top execs under $400k, I'm sure (I wish I were speaking from experience). And this all speaks to the (correct) argument that CEOs' salaries should be no higher than

Yes, that salary does seem high. They need to attract the best people, so like many big companies (for- and not-for-profit) they offer a ridiculously big salary to their CEO. It is part of the 1% vs 99% problem: CEO salaries shouldn't be anywhere near that high, period. Similarly, the salary of the presidents of top

Thanks for a laugh!

I love how at the 1:06 mark, the crab gives the boobies a bold 'fuck you' gesture before removing its arm. If only I could make gifs!

What? Aw. I thought you said the flounder effect. Never mind.

That's good to know.

I concede. Thank you for not excoriating me. And thanks for taking the time to educate me.

Thanks for that information; that's what I was looking for (I always forget 'CharityWatch,' but they're great).

That sounds like a screed. I can't imagine what you have against Komen, but it's not like they're the ones who are supposed to be investigating environmental factors of cancer like the ingredients used by Chili's.

Upfront I should say that I have no vested interest in promoting Komen; I'm a man with no family members directly affected by breast cancer.

I believe that their public health education covers things like teaching women about breast health, encouraging them to get screened, and so forth. Since early diagnosis leads to better results, I'd guess that this is an extremely important part of what they do.

Erin, I am sad to see that you stooped so low. Many of your readers don't do any more research than you appear to have done. Or worse, you purposely omitted some important information in the belief that readers couldn't decide things for themselves if they had all of the facts.

I'm pretty sure we have a word for untestable 'science': religion.

Their parents must be so proud.

I've got to rent that movie again!

These jokes all have the hollow ring of the ones in "English as She is Spoke."

I don't think I've ever seen the phrase 'widows-to-be.' While it would have been accurate, it's so odd. Has that ever appeared in any speech other than this one?

Reminds me of an Arman acrylic sculpture. They're weirdly beautiful and mesmerizing.
