Why aren’t 79-year olds being laughed out of the room?  People laugh off 35-year olds, atheiests, and gay people, but our culture says that 79-year olds deserve serious attention.  I don’t get it.

Yes, but... the truly sad thing is that Miller is still ten times smarter than the president, and he even has more political experience. Compared to the rest of the president’s team, he’s above average. So the biggest problem I have with him is simply his bigotry.

Your gut might feel right, but I’m not sure how true that was.  A lot of Trump voters make a point of avoiding news.  I was living in the middle of nowhere in 2016, and almost all of my internet-less hick neighbors loved Trump.  They were absolutely not reading the Washington Post, let alone commenting on Kinja.

Today’s 18-year olds are buying less alcohol than the Baby Boomers who could legally buy alcohol when they were 18.  Hmm, I wonder what some of the factors could be?

It’s not a real thing, but this is the logic they’re using to get there: Late-term abortions are done by chemicals that can sometimes fail, so if the baby is born premature, can the mom ask for essentially a DNR? Can a mom ask that the living premie baby be denied a respirator or other equipment?
