I used both Launcher Pro and ADW Launcher on my Droid 2 and found ADW to be much quicker. Couldn't say about the Droid 3 though. Good luck.

If you are living in a Microsoft world then no, this is not better. The selection is not that great with Spotify for the $5/mo savings.

Ehh not that great. I will stick with Rdio. It only has about 30-50% of the selection they have, and has partial albums all over the place. Plus I hate the fact they auto import all your itunes music so you have 10 billion tracks to sift through.

Or just do what I do and ask for a card, tell them I will fill it out later. I never do, and none of them have expired yet. If they stop working, just repeat the process.

Rdio + Google Music give me all the music I could ever want for my computer and Android device.

Is there a client that can auto-backup my mail to my computer on a Mac via IMAP without having to keep a client running all the time? I just want a redundancy plan for my email, not Outlook taking 20% of my resources and auto checking every 5 minutes.

Yeah on my Droid 2 it is there too. Maybe on all Moto devices?

Well seeing as how anyone without an Apple device probably won't be able to use it, I think there will still be plenty of use for alternatives.

Vote: ROKU - A ton of channels and a box for $60. Can't beat that. Obviously Mac Mini is the ultimate solution, but for that price you may as well build your own HTPC with a DVR.
