Just knowing the ACLU is against it lets me know that it’s what is best for America. The same thing for 99.9% of the posters here. If they’re opposing it, we should push as hard as humanly possible to get it done; they’re the worst people.

Yeah, LugNutz; please explain how killing an unborn baby would remotely have anything to do with people killing people...me and my fellow leftists don’t see any logic in OH GOD I CAN’T FINISH THIS STUPID MOCKING PARAGRAPH...

“Hell, something like that could prove enough of a demographic change/open mindedness about gay people to swing red states blue for 2020.”

It doesn’t matter how many of the readers here voted for who: the OP is correct - this should be a site (and really used to be) for auto enthusiasts to come together and read/chat about cars, not politics. The OP is also correct in that it doesn’t make sense to alienate literally half of your potential “customers”

“European military technology is as advanced as US technology(more so in some cases)“

And just think: A GAME SHOW HOST has put the smack down, in a truly, epic, historic way, on the ABSOLUTE BEST PERSON the Democrats could put up to run against him.

No, Admiral Ackbar: IT’S A TRAP!!!

Exactly! Let the bad guys get away and don’t make an effort to apprehend them if they’re in sight. In time, the bad guys will simply stop fleeing all on their own and turn themselves in.

Obviously the cabbies were actually white people disguised as other races, because as we all know the whites are privileged and are scheming to hold all other races down.

YES! This post right here. Of course it’s terrible here; it’s the fault of the privileged whites, dontyaknow? See my other post which covers this one.

No, no, no...you’re missing the point. No matter how good things are, especially in the best country in the world, the left will always drag everything down to race, gender, orientation, etc., then they will show how one particular group or another is not getting treated fairly. Except for whites; they’re privileged

I’ve not made any claims about F1 specifically, as WRC drivers are above them in skillset, though I guess I would argue that due to racing road courses (not just ovals), they rank above NASCAR for sure. The backmarkers in F1 are more skilled than the front runners in NASCAR, frankly, but F1 drivers still pale in

So tell me why they bring in ringers to drive the road courses, if they attract top level talent.

Pacenotes are part of the higher skillset. How many NASCAR guys ever had to worry about flying off a road because they missed a note? How many NASCAR guys can mentally form an image of the road two to three turns ahead of where they’re at because a guy is reading pacenotes to him while he’s driving flat out?

Oh, NO Ashley:

Dude; you’re a NASCAR fan....fine! Watch the races, buy the merch, root for your favorite drivers, etc. I’m trying to point out that the driving skillset for oval tarmac racing is one level, and you have to progress beyond that skillset to race other forms of motorsports.

...AND....one of the biggest self-indictments that NASCAR does is a lot of teams bring in different drivers to run the road courses. That to me is a giant self-admission that their drivers do not have the appropriate skillset to do anything other than turn left on an oval.

Did I say it was “simple”? It’s probably not simple to race around at 200mph at all.

“...Richard Petty was one of the greatest (stock car) drivers to get behind the wheel of any (NAS)car.”

And to go along with that, even the motorcycles race in the rain. How embarrassing for NASCAR! While they’re running for the pits to cover up, the motorcycles are running for the pits to swap out their slicks for groove tires...and then head back out to RACE.
