Forcing us all to give serious consideration to the question “Who is the modern-day Tom Arnold?”

I can’t wait for the expose or memoir or whatever 20 years down the line from now about which of the major male action stars of today are on shitloads of steroids

No more Butchie, No more of this.

I’d mourn his passing but there’s no scraps in my scrapbook.

it’s like an icing of vulnerability on a cock rock cake.

Is it wrong that I want him to lose his house, and at least one thing that’s truly precious to him, in the storm? You know, in a way in which no one dies, but he suffers a loss and maybe comes to see the error of his ways? In that light, it would actually be a good thing, regardless of any mean-spirited satisfaction

Would that I were, my innominate amigo. Would that I were.

It depends. If it means we get well-written and acted genre material with sprawling cast and substantial budget that not specifically about dragons and castles, me all for it. Smart move would be to apply GoT model to other, similar genre.

I hope he personally exposes other liberal hoaxes such as “sticking your head in a lit oven will kill you”, “dropping a radio in the bathtub will kill you”, “jumping in front of a subway train will kill you”. Please show us, literally, how they are all lies.

Those soulless clowns figured out the formula - hire a great director with a sense of humour who loves comic books. Those scheming bastards...

“Is “it” a ghost clown that awakens every 27 years (not unlike like a cicada, one character points out), or a curse on the Losers’ Club town of Derry, Maine, or a “disease” as suggested in the 1990 movie, or a manifestation of fear?”

To be honest, I never wanted a masterpiece; if I wanted that, I have the novel right on my shelf. I wanted something that was fun and violent and intense, more of a horrific fantasy film than a slow building creepfest, a new film for the Halloween marathon rotation. It seems I got exactly what I wanted.

Parks and Rec is the superior show.

Yep, I was around back then. Disqus account got screwed up, then my 2nd, then I gave up commenting and just read now and then.

Someone who’s already followed starred me and brought me out of the grey almost immediately. This comment will probably look grey to you though. We stay grey by default until we get a notification that AV Club follows now us.

I’m definitely going to call him Mountain Mk3 from now on. Too late, you should’ve trademarked it!

Cersei being a petty piece of shit even facing legends is my favorite thing about her.
