I have been on Intrepid for a week and have had no problems other than one that is completely perplexing. The Wifi in my dorm with occasionally cause a kernel panic. Every where else I take my laptop it is fine, but not my dorm. But my dorm also hated my desktop so I'm inclined to think that it is my dorm's problem.

@Super_Moose: I did also check one of my friends main passwords, it says it takes 0 hours, which isn't surprising because it is only five letters.

168,824.10 days = 462.225068 years to crack my password. Not spectacular but I wont be around to care.

Harrison20: I had lots of problems with Hardy on my laptop but this new kernel in Intrepid works on it with much better hardware compatibilities.

just yesterday I was rethinking my laptop switch to Intrepid because I miss office 2007 so much. I did look at wine and crossover but was unsure because I am still a beginner. I am so much of a beginner I don't know what to do with the shell script I just downloaded.

I have been wanting to turn my old xbox into a media center for awhile now but there weren't any features I particularly cared about.....till now.

Hands down best is the Thinkpad keyboard. If I could have the keyboard as a stand alone I'd probably spend a fair amount for it.
