im gonna pass on this game. if anything just on principle. i know my nonpurchase wont make a dent, but thrte are more than enough games out there without mtx.

Wait, the monetization schemes are gone? mods available? offline servers available at no cost? Otherwise thats a load of bull.....

The only thing that makes me sad is its xbox exclusive. I can play it on PC, which i will, but sometimes i like slouching the couch and console now and then.

Ah offline story compaign on the level of mass effect 2/3 and I’ll buy the damned thing, which is what i wanted in the first place.  Or better yet, get started on mass effect 4 and/or andromeda DLC (for all its flaws, andromeda played well for me).

I’m hoping just that starfield is an offline rpg it will already be tiers better than fallout76.  Beth is just too interested in the regular income that mmos get.  The thing they missed is that at some point people are not gonna spend money and move on.

Really dont like the emphasis on monetization, as much as i cant fault them for it.  The highlight for bethesda’s fallout games was all the content you get for a fixed price and the mods just made them more beloved in the long run.  This game model, while more profitable for beth, just ruins their standing in the

I’m normally a hardcore Aerith fan...but damn me if that pic of Tifa isnt alluring.....

And thats why I havent bought Dead or Alive in years. They can shove up their MTX up their follicle laden posteriors....

Like anyone who hasnt bought the game would buy it now.  Its such a clusterF I wouldnt touch it even now.  I’ll save my money for fallout 5 IF they ever release it and it is solo only with unrestricted mods.

Google has an uphill battle in the short-term imho.  Speaking for myself, I want to own my games, which is why i prefer physical media as much as possible, or at least keep the game code locally so i can play offline.  I daresay most gamers still prefer that as well.

Sooo glad I never bought this game and instead used my hard earned money on The Outer Worlds.

The PS5 controllers will be charged with USB Type-C.’

Thats one of the reasons im not too fond of the current editions of DND and Pathfinder.  character building is comparitively more simplifies, while great for new players, disallows intentional point expenditures for particular roleplay builds.  I definitely prefer 3rd editions more granular builds with skill points

how about putting in a great story campaign and offline play? no? then bethesda isnt getting any of my money.

Sorry, unless it has offline play im not interested. Being reliant on an internet connection is a no-sale for me.

That is one sexy ship design...almost makes me want to try EVE...oh wait, thats just a fleeting feeling of insanity...

Wait I’m confused, if he’s canadian isnt he supposed to be very nice? I dont think I’ve ever met a bad canadian.

I’ll cheer when they totally remove the whole lockbox bullcrap they insist on putting in all their future games.

I’ll have to respectfully disagree, I get lost too darned easy. With my limited playtime split between several games, I need the minimap to make my play efficient. Make mini-map removal optional at worst, not required.
