If there was ever a person that deserved the death penalty...this guy is in the top 10 list.
I was laughing so hard at Bizarro Clark, rofl
well, i meant charisma in general, not for picking up girls >.<
Unless you are the DM, usually becoming a good DM boosts your charisma imho. Confidence is also boosted unless you have a dickish group.
Well, the cantrips in 5e are much much more powerful, that kinda helps with casters compete damage-wise.
Probably the one good thing about pathfinder/3.5 and 5ed, you can mix and match the rules very easily compared to 4e. If I wanted to bring in new players I would probably keep Pathfinder but remove the BAB and saving throws and use the proficiency/advantage system in 5d.
Competition is a good thing. I love Pathfinder/3.5 for its complexity, but I'll have to admit that 5ed is much much easier to DM with and to get new players to play. I just wish they didnt nerf high level casters so much (only 1 8th/9th level spells per day even if you multiclass? wtf...)
No argument from me. Balance was definitely an issue but it gave the setting the feeling that magic was all powerful at least at the end game with casters flinging 9th level spells with abandon. Just made it feel more like high fantasy imho.
I agree. But they had to simplify dnd to attract newer players who may be overwhelmed with too many rules. Ill bet wotc will release optional rule books to sell.
its balanced against casters being able to cast less higher level spells.
That was part of the fun. My players were used to fighting low mdc zentradi mecha. Rifts mechs forced them to think and learn when to retreat.
Thats why I love 3rd edition wizards. I follow the elminster/mordenkainen model. Low level wizards are easy to kill to keep their numbers down but archmages rule the world. Which incidentally are my usual villians *grins evilly*
Loved Rifts, my player group used Robotech characters and mechs in our campaign...we had the SDF-1 pop up when it disappeared in the Sentinels storyline instead of going into Invid space>.<
The nerfage of casters hurts me the most as a player. I cant stand the thought that ill never be able to cast more than 1 8th or 9th level spell at level 20 (compared to the 4 in 3.5/pathfinder). Harder hitting cantrips doesnt make up for it and the level 1+ damage spells no longer gain additional damage dice…
I'm not too keen on the nerfage of the casters...being able to only cast 1 level 8 and 9 spell at level 20 is an insult to a wizard player imho. I do like the new rules set up tho, basically 3.5 but with modifiers reduced to a minimum. If I do start DMing 5th edition I think it would be a lot easier to run with the…
I'm not too fond of the Mako if only because it was a *bleep* to control.
Somebody is sooo fired....
I personally dont want to have kids...the world is too depressing...
She seriously needs to consider getting a refund for all those surgeries.....
