Agreed, mmo's particularly in the old days were all about who had more time to waste to play online.

Nah, what happened was that most people prefer to solo or minimize their socialization. Why do you think group finders and more casual solo leveling play is the norm. Lord knows I avoid all social contact in an MMO as long as possible especially if it has sandboxy features.

And you wonder why the majority of players prefer non-pvp servers.

Its because of sociopathic/psychpathic players that cause hardcore/sandbox games to be a niche genre. Because the environment is very unwelcoming especially to new players, they will never have enough of a population to stay profitable. EVE is probably the only open pvp game out there that is surviving but only…

I place the blame entirely on the assholes that scammed him. If more people were actually civilized in sandbox games there would be more of them.

Vegas. I prefer my srpgs offline especially if data caps become more commonplace in the US. Just look at Simcity, its not just the isp, but the server side reliability. You bet your rear end if I paid for a game and I couldnt play it because the publisher/developer has server/overpopulation issues I would be peeved…

Aye, I would have had hope if DC was being conservative with MoS2, but they are throwing everybody they have into that movie so its gonna be a mess. And I say that being a fan of Zack Snyder films and have a good opinion of the first MoS.

I dont see why Nickleback is so hated. There are a lot more bands/singers worse than them. I cant say they are my favorite band, but I do find their music ok and worth a listen to now and then.

Crafting I would agree. But Everquest was never designed for balanced pvp, I really doubt Brad even intends to have any discussion on pvp since he is focusing on PVE grouping. As sociable PVP can be, it breeds more negativity than anything else. He prolly wants a more cooperative spirit with the entire community…
