I'm hoping they eventually release a 1 or 2 tb model. My older 300gig version is so full its funny and after the 4.4 patch debacle im afraid to upgrade the HDD. And the 500gig version isnt a big enough upgrade.

true true, hadn't thought of it in that manner. I was thinking more along the lines of compromise from both side, if its gonna be expensive I(consumer) want more control but if its cheap ill let go a few demands. But then I try to be a moderate in most topics >.<

Frankly imho, its worth losing the cloud power and game sharing in order to get rid of the DRM. If I wanted cloud power I would stick with my PC, at least the steam and gog sales there make it palatable being DRMed to death. If mainstream games were 5 to 10 bux all the time they can DRM all they want.

If the next gen does go all digital, ill go back to the PC. At least there are Steam sales there. I dont mind DRM if the game costs 5 to 10 bux. And yes im patient enough to wait til they get that cheap.

MS can change all the language they want to sell their always on requirement. But you cant soften the fact that if it doesnt check in you get a brick after 24 hours. For MMOs thats expected, but for single player games or at home multiplayer thats just a load of bleep.

If Sony does DRM, im skipping consoles til they get their collective heads out of their nether regions and goin back to the PC master race.

Nope, still not enough, not buying it. Kinect 2.0 has to be completely optional to play games. Because I'd rather disconnect it entirely from the machine.

But MS is still enabling it, no thanks, no xbox1 for me. If sony does the same thing I guess ill be skipping consoles this gen if not forever.

Well, MS made my choice easier for the next gen, wont be buying an xbox. And if Sony is dumb enough to do the same, I'll stick to PC.

Why am I afraid that MS will say the next Xbox wont have always online requirements, but in a later firmware update make it so you have to. Not saying they can do that without reprecussions, but i get the impression they really want this always online/no used games crap.

If this is true, then I am definately not getting the next Xbox. I avoided D3 and Simcity for the same reason, always online requirement is a no no. You would think MS would learn from Blizzard's and Maxi's mistakes.
