I have to be at work by 6AM so I try to be up by 4:45 at the latest. This gives me time to play with the dogs, eat breakfast and get a shower. I used to feel rushed and anxious in the morning until I switched one thing, instead of starting the day with a cup of coffee I hold off until 9 or 10.

I like Youtube for music! I can access it (nearly) anywhere and it never runs out of batteries like my iPod.

From the picture I thought it was them. Do theses clogging couples just look the same?

This makes me wonder...what happened to the other fake youtubers, the Christian couple with the fake pregancy “surprise” who were trying to brainwash their five year old (whose I.Q. was at least 50 points higher than her two parents) into hating gay people? Also, can we start a petition to shut down Youtube?

Watching her reaction, yeah, she could be in on it, but if she’s not? I’d classify this shit as emotional abuse and manipulation. He keeps saying shit like, “but you still love me, right.” And putting the kid in on these things such that he thinks they are funny/okay? Not cool.

That’s just hilarious.

I have no useful comments on the article. I just want to say that whatever you guys are paying Jim Cooke, it’s not enough.

@ Yoko Listen to the sound of the fire burning in the center of the Earth. It is the same as the beautiful fire you carry inside you.

Now playing

Shea’s (excellent) book includes, in each chapter, a written “rebuttal” to his pick for the most important song of the year, and I wrote the rebuttal for ‘97. My pick: “The Rain” by Missy Elliott, featuring Timbaland. Here’s what I wrote:

And don’t forget, Hardy was actually convict of the crime he was charged with. He appealed the conviction, and it was during that appeal process that his victim was paid off dropped off the face of the earth, which led prosecutors to drop the case.

Really? I thought the main sketches were better than 90% of the live sketches they’ve done the last year or two. The performances in the Delta bit had me laughing pretty hard, Bayer in particular. Porn teacher not quite as much, but Aidy’s sincerity was charming and kept me invested. I think the writing this season

She’s also popular with some Black feminists/Womanists as well. My circle of friends will often forward her sketches around and I saw Trainwreck with a couple of my BF/Womanist friends (we liked it well enough, it was OK, not great).

It’s funny, in the ‘80s and ‘00s I was all about the 22nd amendment. But these days I can really see its drawbacks.

WhiteHouse.gov petition or nah ?

That’s just beautiful.

God I’m going to miss Obama 2.0.
