The Shogun of Harlem!

Falling Down begs to differ.

I'm still going out on a limb for Top Gun for '86. It's nowhere near as GOOD a film as Aliens, but it was a cultural touchstone in that it was the beginning of the military/entertainment complex.

Breaks my goddamn heart that BTILC won't get a full piece in this series.

Really my main gripe about it is I really wanted '86 to be Top Gun - it paved the way for the marriage of military and Hollywood that led to Michael Bay and the DOD paying the NFL to Support The Troops.

The fact that next year he has to do Aliens over Top Gun is madness.

Chic Fil A employees who are insufficiently chipper go in the wood chipper.

The Cook Out Tray.

Pee Wee's Playhouse, yo.

The Miz, to me, is gonna be one of those dudes like Big Boss Man, where in the moment we're like "yeah, he's good and all" but ten-fifteen years out we're like "God damn, he was awesome."

They're gonna release it as a D&D supplement, I hope.

Carpenter is all aural. It SOUNDS like Carpenter.

OH SHIT ARE THE BEACH BOYS COMING BACK?!

Those old-timey phones where you turn the crank and tell the operator who you want to talk to.

1: So what's the other Outkast album? Gotta be Aquemini, right?

If they really wanted to reference 80s entertainment, the bad guys would all be throw clear or somehow parachute out of the van in midair.

I grew up on Furman, but after twenty years of ME GRIMLOCK BADASS and yet another grand guignol universe-threatening cosmic bullshit storyline (and his take on Arcee in IDW, which was fucking atrocious), I'm okay with letting other people take the reins.

If you have Comixology Unlimited, now is a good time. "Season 3" just wrapped up and they're gonna rename and relaunch in a couple months.

Oh, you're preaching to the choir.

As one of the resident Transformers experts here, I'd say *very* rarely if at all. I can't think of any specific times when they do - mostly they call themselves "Autobots" or "Decepticons" or "Cybertronians" as needed.
