976-BAND, duh.

"The Shape of Lunch to Come" is spectacular, y'all.

I would swear there's a bit in one of the Theon chapters where Roose mentions (or Theon realizes) that Roose basically is stuck with Ramsay now - even if he had a son with Walda tomorrow, Roose doesn't anticipate living long enough to see him grow to adulthood, and Ramsay would likely find some way to kill any other

He made the kid his personal steward. I'd say that's a pretty high level of trust for …Olly? Orry?

I'm disappointed. I figured Jaqen And Friends' One Stop Suicide Shop would have instigated more questions.

She's the queen now. What's Cersei gonna do to her?

It takes two to do the Evil Ghost Shadow Baby Tango.

I know. You really should use "sex worker".

oh yeah, the Brides of Dracula. Meh.

You leave Fat Walda Bolton out of this. She's awesome. Just hanging out and being really happy about things.

rushing to zazzle to make a BAELISH & BOLTON & BOLTON & SLYNT & QYBURN & PYCELLE & MORMONT tshirt.

Fat Walda is one of my favorite minor book characters - like, the book is pretty clear that her and Roose have a genuine weird affection for one another. They have a vivid sex life and she is just hanging out in her BRIGHT PINK OUTFITS being fat and awesome and running shit.

PS it must have been hot in Kings Landing, because Cersei and Margery were throwing shade like it was going out of style…

Boy, the Newbies thread is gonna go APESHIT over all the House of Black and White stuff, huh?

I was thinking of the "I could have freed a thousand more" quote from Harriet Tubman, then I found out it was made up. :(

"According to Mammy, she still belongs to the O'Hara family and is scandalized by the idea that Yankee trash could free her."

A similar Southern-ism: "sure can't". (Which is an enthusiastic, polite, rejection.)

Yep.

I never say "might could", but say "might ought to" pretty regularly. Yes to "fixin' to".

regionalisms I use that my wife hates: "might ought to", "right now in a minute".
