Other than his incessant reference to the Iraq war vote, what is one significant difference between Bernie and Hillary on foreign policy? I watched all the debates, and what was clear to me was a) Hillary knows a metric shit ton more about foreign policy than Bernie does, b) Bernie was generally pretty unprepared to

I was thinking the other day, while reading Patricia’s Overwatch review, I couldn’t help but think about how enjoyable her writing style is to read. Every article of her’s has a depth of character that connects with me somehow, whether I agree or disagree, I’m always left with a deeper understanding of her topics. And

The narratives that have built up about Clinton being a terrible campaigner and Trump being a political genius are going to change now that we’re (almost)into the general election. She’s going to destroy him, and I’m going to love watching it.

Brilliant. Clinton is so much better than she’s given credit for. She’s intelligent, thoughtful, and experienced. She’s made mistakes, but so have we all. Plus, she’s learned from them, which unfortunately cannot be said for Trump.

You say, why use technology when you can use magic — but I say, magic *is* technology at that point. Instead of MIT and Caltech making nuclear reactors, you’d have them working on the intricacies of making novel elements through alchemy or designing spells to more efficiently keep buildings cool while not interfering

To the Window.

To the Wall.

‘till the... Oh, GOD WHERE DOES THAT WINDOW LOOK INTO? IS THAT THE INSIDE OF MY SOUL? WHO’S REFLECTION IS THAT? GET IT OUT OF MY BRAINASDFLAJW;EOGIH2GO24GJ;2OG2G;JLAKSDJ;AGOIHG’

Think of it this way...this is an unusual story, people were punished for harming this girl, and the general consensus of people reading about it is one of disgust. That was not always the case. That is not the case in some parts of the world right now. Things are getting better, but slowly.

Those are some somewhat comforting statistics, but something has to get figured out or some culture shift needs to happen. I’m agreeing with you implicitly, but it’s not really the shitspewing over XBox live and the like I’m worried about. People have had to move their homes, have lost their jobs, have had mental

I know that you and other folks at Kotaku (Stephen, Patricia, Evan and more) have written articles dedicated to exploring topics like this (e.g. the ethics of reporting in your field), but I want to see more! I feel like your comment above was rock solid, and could have been the nucleus for a really engaging article.

You bring up some good points that are definitely worth discussing. The conversation over “leaks” in gaming journalism is an interesting one, and one we’ve discussed a LOT internally. (I sit next to Stephen, and he and I have conversations about this sort of thing ALL the time.)

God fucking damnit this is some absolute bullshit. Why why WHY IN THE FUCKING WORLD is it that this is where I find myself being most embarrassed? I feel like the sheer amount of vicious, casual apathy these walking vomitoriums spew has turned the word gamer into a slur. Fucking Christ!

I can assure you it’s a bigger deal than simply relearning pokemon names. It’s a sign of disregard and disrespect to the native language that the product is being marketed to.

My best friend and college roommate for three years is a conservative, and was a member of the college Republicans. He was (and is) an exemplary conservative and one whom I wish the party was full of.

I thought I edited it before anyone saw! Noooooo!
