I herd it was goats.

Counterpoint: Men who think women have no place in government, like monkeys and donkeys, have no place in government.

I would love for — just every now and then — a random tampon to strike Mr. Qazipour in the head while parliament is in session.

The U.S. is absolutely known for having the worst sexual health outcomes of all industrialized nations. It’s a combination of factors you cited- lack of access to health insurance and health care, poor sex education, and a culture of silence and shame around all things sexual. I do not think we should further

This is among women 15-44. And certainly not every woman is having sex with a man, but we measure large scale because that makes sense. A large enough percentage of uterus-havers 15-44 are at risk of pregnancy. And orientation =/= behavior and rape and coercion happen, so that’s why they use all women. To explain the

Unintended includes any women who are not actively planning on becoming pregnant. So those meh couples are counted, because they are not taking steps like being on pre-natal vitamins or doing pre-conception visits with a doctor to ensure healthy pregnancy outcomes. Holy shit. Glad you made it out of that situation. So sorry that happened to you.

I would consider it a much worse outcome if my son grew up to hurt women than if some unfair shit happened to him from time to time.

I’m just so fucking angry at this entire situation. I’m a recent GT alum, and just, ugh. So angry. (And note, Ehrhart, all of the alumni I know LOVE Bud. He’s fantastic.)

that’s a 46% rate of unintended pregnancies, which seems shockingly high...

Ugh I’m barfed internally at that line. ‘Her fine son’ how about he go talk to the parents of a child who was sexually assaulted and see what that’s like.

then that’s a 46% rate of unintended pregnancies, which seems shockingly high

This made me want to punch this guy in the face. I am the mother of a son I sure hope grows up to be a fine young man, but if he does something to hurt another person, he’ll need to face the consequences just like anyone else who commits a crime.

Yes, because in cases of sexual assault, what’s REALLY important is the schools reputation and the “college experience” of being in a fraternity.

At least he is talking to an unbiased source about the matter.
