what about a place like Portillos, the owner still lives in illinois and its mostly in the chicagoland area but they have expanded to champaign and bloomington illinois and have locations in florida, arizona, and california aka popular snowbird states?

It was worth 60k when he started but by the time he stopped it was worth 6k at auction.

Wait... did he just jump a $60k pickup truck?

That’s the most satisfying thing I’ve watched all day.

Parking like a dick across 2 slots is part of the manly thing? Even in press shoot they couldn’t resist!

All of that black trim is going to turn a lovely mottled shade of grey in about 5 years. See Chevy Avalanche and my hooptie Frontier. Black plastic trim needs to go the way shag carpet and popcorn ceilings.

That is extremely nerdy. I will definitely be watching for that now!

Currently available elsewhere and coming to bore North America soon, the Ford EcoSport...

Thanks to the CO2 leaks, the Explorer is also the most likely of the above to actually put the driver to sleep.

Those aren’t a Buicks, this is a Buick:

You forgot arguably the worst offender: Equinox.

How long until Lotus calls a car the “Eclair”?

Odd, Lotus has a habit of something similar...

Different concept. The picture you posted are just trim packages and variations of the same car. The Envision is a different car from the Enclave, but you’d be hard pressed to know which is from average distance and nobody really cares which you bought since it’s a boring Buick.

I would like to propose that once the engine is turned sideways and there is a base model where power is sent to the front wheels only, it is no longer an SUV, but just a tall car.

Between Ford and GM (mostly Buick), I think we now officially have a lifetime supply of nearly-identical boring SUVs with nearly-identical names starting with E.

The 2014 Audi sedan line-up was not particularly more enlightened than Buick’s current SUV one, as pointed out by Doug then.

Yeah did you actually watch the video? That’s not what it’s about, at all.

i really miss the 50/50 body to greenhouse ratio....

You can blame designers, but they are working within what the public demands. The majority want safer cars for pedestrians as well as occupants. This starts with a higher sloped nose that meets pedestrian safety regulations. This safety design also requires a higher hood leaving a crush zone to absorb impact.
