You totally missed the Jimmy Castor/Bertha saga.

The reasoning behind the introduction of SCRUM and how they applied it was pretty faithful to how it has happened in the places i've worked— including using post-its on a wall for an otherwise tech based company.

Loved, loved, loved, loved Nick calling Ewan McGregor "medium talent"!! Like anytime a "who jackie?" joke appears somewhere, "medium talent" is a secret "hey, we know you're watching" from the writers to comedy geeks.

I wasn't until I read this review that I realized it was a flashback. I was waiting the whole episode for him to kill Sasha.

The hip-hop loving' side of me also enjoyed hearing Boogie Down Productions in that strip club, but the hyper critical side of me questions weather in the mid-to-late 90s a Boogie Down Productions song would be played in a backwoods Louisiana white strip club. Love the song and the sly message, but it took me out of

The Wikipedia entry for this song is bananas— essentially, the true original version of this song has actually never been released due to all the samples.

I'm really glad that the people behind the scenes recognize that they're creating an alternate-reality version of the country music scene where twangy Americana dominates the charts as opposed to the Yacht Rock, Teen Pop and Bro Country which actually does. Though I bet ABC wishes they would tilt in the other

Yeah, seriously, Floating Robin knocks this down a full grade for me. Terrible.

I was surprised that my first two songs were from artists I had actually heard of ("Tumbling Down" by Antietam and 'First Song in the Day (alternate take) by jazz pianist Hal Galper), but then I got some nice 80s jazz funk ("Love You Back" by Diane Schurr) that sounded like an outtake from the Moonlkghting soundtrack

This column is a swing and a miss. Totally not at all what I come to the A.V. Club for. Thanks for playing.

So happy to see "Cover Me Up" and "Night Still Comes" noted here.

If you don't like 'Still Into You" then indeed you probably wouldn't like the rest of the album.

Albums of the Year 2013:

Nothing Was The Same - Drake
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 - Eminem
Big Sean - Hall of Fame
Maga Carta Holy Grail - Jay-Z
Pusha T - My Name Is My Name

For real, the Paramore album is really good. And I'm personally still "meh" on Arcade Fire, so their non-appearance here was nice to see.

For me, that was the lone false musical note of the season. "Slap and Tickle" wasn't something that would've been played a the bar they went to, or even recognized by those characters enough to dance to it.

How is it at all possible that there are no Bruno Mars songs in the Radio Friendly Singles category? "Treasure", "When I Was Your Man" and "Locked Out Of Heaven" were al massive this year, and *Unorthadox Jukebox* packed with other good songs as well.

No mention of the triumphant return of Ben Wyatt's Letters To Cleo t-shirt (a.k.a. his unemployment outfit)? Y'all slippin'.

The public voting thing was cute, but alas not in the realm of reality. You can vote without registering— 'tis a right, not a privilege! You have to fill out a "provisional ballot". The crabby lady at the table woulda known that. That took me right out of the episode.

In Sorkin's 2011, bars are playing Toto, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and WIllie Nelson.
