Yeah, I just read the NYT article; the place appears to be poorly run—perhaps the people running it have good intentions, but there are some odd things.
The museum is like $1 million in debt, as another person pointed out above (not that I think they should evict her, but I see their problem.)
Yes, they've been together since she was a teen.
She was joking throughout the whole thing... in a tongue in cheek/eye-rolling kinds way.
He said that in the debate?!
That armpit hair is actually nicely groomed.
Yesterday on Ellen, Ellen, Madonna, and Justin Bieber (jeez, everyone really goes there for image rehab) play a game called "never have I ever." At the end, Madonna made up a question to ask the group. She asked "Have you ever had sex with more than two people in one day." Ellen and Bieber held up signs that said, "I…
It's funny because when I saw that JLo and others have mentioned how sexy he was, I was like "Hmm." But I totally get it now.
Shhhh! Mysterious people are allowed to be assholes if they seem cool, says society.
She'd have to knock on my door and try to sell me a book. Kidding! There's just too much to back up the fact that she doesn't want it (or didn't want it when she was perhaps more coherent). I work in publishing, so I know how these contracts work and how the stuff with agents and writers goes, which makes me more…
She doesn't need the money; she's been in the nursing home a while. I mean, hello, medicaid even if she has no savings.
Yeah, I wouldn't assume it's from her. I mean, it would be a convenient way for the lawyer/agent to continue this whole scenario... like "Oh, yeah, she really wants the book out there, even after so much time" and then "Haha, that's her feisty spirit, she won't give you a quote." Nevermind what's behind the curtain,…
Etta James "Rage to Survive" is the best music autobiography, please consider it but...
He said he had "lust" in his heart. That was memorable. To add to your list, how's about the Duggars? [snickers]
That's the thing—this was an independent film. Chances are that's why everything was so low budget.
I totally agree about the $50,000 being too low for a star of a film—it's insulting, BUT—at the same time—it was an independent film so people don't make typical Hollywood money, esp if they are not proven box office stars. It's a shame they couldn't negotiate for profits... it must have made money after the Oscar…
It's sorta funny when people are making a big point and you feel like, "Yeah! I'm with you... I'm with you...keep going..." and then they say a clunker like that.
Yes, I think she was mentioning them as specific groups whose civil rights have been violated. It's very odd to see people not understand that those groups can overlap. The current internet culture is to pick any issue apart while not focusing on what the truth is or what actually matters....
She's so powerful that when she fell, she took all the dudes with her. Also, ouch.
