Its called brain wave generation, and there are apps that do it, its more for calming or making yourself sleep, or opening up creativity. I hate when people just go nuts and judge things as evil.

There are a LOT of special products out there that have weird/hard to line up battery compartments. This will be awesome for the live touring industry, no lights just batteries, and whole host of other industries. Including the military, no look, just load. I think its genius.
