We were a Ford family in the 70's. My mom bought a new Pinto in '73 and I remember that car fondly. When the above Chevette was new, I had already driven in Honda Civics, Toyota Corollas, and Datsun B210's. Datsun was a sponsor at Ascot Park, a place some would think a Japanese car should never been seen. In '76 I

I like the car, but not at this price.

As a Saab aficionado and former owner, I salute all of you who made the trip and braved the cold to get your message across. I hope it won't take too many hours to unfreeze yourselves. Have a Kahlua coffee on me (or whatever passes for Kahlua in Sweden, probably something excreted from a moose).

My 1990 LX 5.0. Black with grey leather, 5 speed, removable sunroof, power everything, pretty much loaded.

@Maymar: I bought a 5.0 LX brand new in 1990. 5 speed, leather, roof, every option available. It was a great car and I thought I'd keep it forever.
