I don’t know who this article is for. Everyone far to Biden’s left was unhappy that he was the consensus nominee, but the vast majority of those people are aware of his flaws, and the mistakes Democrats have made in the past, and will still happily vote for Biden/Harris. This is an excessive punishment that will do more harm than good, since now you get banned for a week if your connection or power goes out.  That harms the average player just as much as it harms poor sports.

They probably have no right to work with the IP if he literally had the right to unilaterally take over the company.  So it seems far more likely that this is a negotiating tactic than that the people who fled the company are now going to work on the game entirely on their own with the support of a couple publishers.
