I think it’s the American Beauty of books in that everyone who loves it now will be very embarrassed in a few years.

I feel way worse for Jastremski in this case than I do for McNally. At least the latter can just go back to working in the family map business.

I listen to as much Cowherd as anyone here. Source: I work in radio, his show is on in the room next to me right now. I’ve never really understood the level of hate Deadspin throws at him. The John Wall thing will get beaten like a dead horse time and time again and in the age of internet outrage everyone will

They just want to be like their cool older brother Deadspin.

“The giant rat in DS1 is a great example of this,” he continues. “It’s tough to fight it fairly, but if you squeeze yourself into an alley you can attack it without retaliation.

For me, the 2 dogs walking along the hunter woman? in bone ash set in the chalice dungeons, those dogs, I just can’t easily kill them, I try to keep them at bay but they just keep rushing at me, then I’m cornered and get killed :(

Rule of thumb for PC gaming and Ubisoft: Fuck Ubisoft.

See, when I grew up, it wasn’t in this wussy, namby-pamby child-safe world where everything’s inflatable and covered in velvet. Oh, no! We drank from the fire hose! We had our poison out in the OPEN, in the same box as the cereal! Only in a little, smaller box! We played with sticks and our playgrounds weren’t padded!

No, terrorists are America's terrorists, from Stormfront and KKK retards to Christian and Muslim fundies and lots of other idiots in between.

Magary is seriously the coolest guy on deadspin/gawker/jezebel. Even when he does whatever he’s doing in this gif he is still cooler than all of you other bloggers.

ugh, Jersey Boys?? get a new girlfriend

I'm black, and really cowherd does 3 hours by himself everyday, hes gonna have some cuts that sound ridiculous... but the large majority of things he says are really progressive... this is taken out of context and clearly made in jest...

Good grief. That's not what he meant you dimwit.

Fuck off.

I think the point is these guys write for a general interest publication, not AJR or CJR. So it's rather arrogant to assume that the advice you have to give about your job is so interesting that people who don't want your career would still find it worthwhile to read. We do this a lot, and it's borne of the same

Then they are in a no-win situation:

Chris Fowler makes $6M per annum? He just lost his starting gig. That salary is excessive for a second-string presenter. ESPN cannot afford the luxury of keeping Fowler on the roster and has not denied reports they plan a salary dump of Fowler's remaining 8-year contract on Fox Sports 1. The upstart network has

No...it isn't at all. Your response shows little 'grown up' about you, other than maybe you're slightly above the 'age' you consider to be grown.

See, I heavily disagree with that mindset. Certain games, as crafted/tuned experiences, only work with certain restrictions. If you click the wrong button, you have to live with that. You quickly learn not to click the wrong button, trust me.

Whichever poor soul gets promoted to Hultz/May babysitting duty better get a huge raise.
