I had similar feelings when seeing the trailer for Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, but now that’s one of my favorite Zelda games. The difference here is that Link’s Awakening has much nicer, glossy rendering, where this game has flat lighting that doesn’t add much character to it being HD

Here’s hoping this game is released on the Switch Pro if the Switch Pro ever happens. This scale of a game would be so much better on new hardware. I’m excited to see how this game turns out
