She’s actually been really contrite about it. She deserves consequences, but people get boners when a woman is the center of a pile-on.

It’s the only consequence or layer practically anybody is even talking about.

I just keep seeing all the commentary about this being about “bodyshaming” and undermining people’s confidence to go to the gym. Bad as that is it seems way way way down the list. It’s like referring to sexual assault as “slutshaming.”

That and even if the woman looked like a bikini model, you don’t take naked pictures of people without their consent. Personally I think that’s a more important point than “bodyshaming.”

When did she say he contributed nothing? That’s just the implication he took and ran with.

It’s the kind of willfull obtuseness that grates my cheese. The “all lives matter” people know what “black lives matter” means. Say “save the whales” to them and they don’t assume you mean “fuck every other animal species.”

I assume since they’re in moving vehicles they’re both on their way to some place. Who has time to take out of their day to chase down every driver who pulls a move you don’t approve of? Get over it and let a traffic cop deal with them.

That’s different from the Mickey Spillane context. It’s like “broad” or “tomato.”

It can be done ironically but you kind of have to be a woman to pull it off.

And every time you wear a shirt with a celebrity’’s face on it, people look back on everyone that celebrity dated and make a 6 degrees calculation to anyone your spouse is rumored to have slept with.

The relationship’s probably just normal, even if they are cheating on each other. It’s keeping track of all the speculation and rumors that looks exhausting.
