I can’t claim to have followed the behind-the-scenes goings on of that, such that I could point the finger. I will say that I always enjoyed the “monster-of-the-week” episodes more than the core conspiracy arc, at least after the second or third time they essentially negated everything they’d previously explained, and

Best take I’ve seen on here yet, but we may never know.

I doubt they’ll scrupulously adhere to that distinction.

I miss Crackers too. Even with his “avian racism” and all...

I’d actually enjoyed “2" a lot more than the first, so the dropping of the Shrek ball was all the more disappointing, albeit unsurprising.

I’d actually found enough disappointing about the previous two that it was less troubling to me. As far as I was concerned they were already films that had a lot of cool and enjoyable stuff in them along with glaring clinkers, rather than classics as a while.

It had more of a narrative than a lot of sitcoms, but I broadly agree that nobody was really watching it for that. The show certainly wouldn’t have lent itself to a Mary Tyler Moore-style ending “with heart”, and not every show can have a Newhart-style “punchline”.

Opinions on that differ as well, of course — Waterworld, and even Heaven’s Gate, have their defenders, and Titanic its detractors (though the latter’s weaknesses don’t have much to do

Arguably something like The Happening.

Contrary to the insistence of modern Afro-centrists, even ethnic Egyptians were a long way from sub-Saharan “black”.

Well, it’s definitely a porn genre.

I thought at first that was just a momentary slip by Rife, but she’s pretty consistent with it throughout the piece.

Which seems likely to be what Westeros’ new set-up mutates into going forward, as soon as there’s not a freakish compromise candidate around like Bran.

And in the finale he wakes up on the Enterprise bridge and tells Counselor Troi... “I had the strangest dream...”

Odd... this replicator is specifically programmed to ignore orders to produce Merlot...

Was the director’s dentist available?
