Every game of Civilization that I start.
Every game of Civilization that I start.
YES!!! I may have to do the same. Now where’d I put my emulator?
It’s why I can’t get too mad at the fans who booed him.
Agree, Pat Tillman definitely fits the bill better than, say, Tiki Barber, who was still a great player in his final season, but was already like 32 and nearing the end of his career.
Sam Bradford is about to get paid YET AGAIN
There are different kinds of game sequels. There are sequels that are essentially the same game but refined for a better overall experience - Ninja Gaiden II, Pokemon Gold/Silver, the Mega Man series . Then there are sequels that were big hits following semi-obscure predecessors, which are essentially thought of as…
Phanto used to freak me out too (and heck, I was like 14 at the time). That sense of dread is *palpable*. He’s always right behind you, just out of frame. Like any great horror villain. Brilliant design.
All right! Peter is always good for an article about some semi-obscure game I was obsessed with in my youth. Which will it be this time? Heroes of Might and Magic 3? Clash at Demonhead? Faxanadu?
That’s right, I didn’t even think of that. Marty Sherman could probably be re-cast without too much trouble but Oblina or Dexter without Cavanaugh would feel wrong.
One that really sticks out is mentioned in the article - Dexter’s Lab. The longform special ‘Ego Trip’ was always one of my favorite Dexter moments. But you couldn’t do it without Christine Cavanaugh (RIP) could you? No way.
What I don’t understand is why everyone - both WWE and AEW - seem to be bending over backwards to deny that they’re trying to compete with one another. Why? Is direct competition immoral or something? What’s the point in acting all innocent? (and again, innocent of what exactly?)
They didn’t even tear down the slide for like two years.
I watched this yesterday and the article doesn’t even mention the most batshit thing in the video - the Schlitterbahn guest who talks about going to the waterpark with his family just a few days later when the park reopened. He mentions feeling torn about it but deciding to go - but brought flowers in memory of the…
I think he literally only made out the words ‘elite’ and ‘movie’.
Actually, I find that part very interesting - that Trump decided to just go ahead and call Hollywood racist. (Sorry, Racist). It’s like he just figured, hey, they’re calling me racist, I’ll l just go ahead and call them racist right back. It’s not like he has to *explain* why they’re the real racists - he never has to…
I have been utterly fascinated by this ‘controversy’ all week. I saw SO MANY conservative Facebook posts about it, and every single comment was OUTRAGED about this movie, when the elites are OBVIOUSLY THE BAD GUYS. I was absolutely dumbfounded. Most conservative outrages at least make sense by their own twisted rules.…
I enjoyed reading the article (haven’t watched Election in 20 years) but it felt like a classic ‘Bad Fan’ take where the author imagines people not ‘getting’ the movie, even though everything he mentions is laid out pretty clearly in the film. Of course Broderick is a self-loathing, amoral monster who gives in to his…
Remember when Julianne Hough was dating Ryan Seacrest? Just a thing I remember
And then there’s the reports of republicans donating to her campaign so they can type us as “loonies”.
I drove right underneath the the traffic jam from that pig intestine spill. Thankfully we were far enough away from the actual spill that we couldn’t smell anything.
