Once Diane Sawyer left and Disney bought ABC, GMA became a(n even bigger) shill for Disney/Marvel/ABC TV/movie/music entertainment. In the past they at least threw in some news in between celebrity interview and Steals and Deal. But srsly that is all it is now.

All-Star Squadron is a great book. Quite wordy at times, man Thomas likes chatty heroes, but he really dug deep into many societal issues in the books near 5-year run with (for its time) complex characters. If the art could be recolored I think it would look just as good or better than many books on the shelves today.

I can see that. Aladdin is my fave Disney movie for many reasons but Jasmin’s adamant refusal to be essentially sold off in marriage then CHOOSING to use her sexuality to distract Jafar later on really showed me how mature her character was presented.

Kate is British, raised in a different culture where maintaining public face is a high priority. I don’t fault her for that though it certainly is not an American way of dealing with things. She can choose - and express that choice - to not be part of the conversation.

I think it’s a creative way to make the new Superman stand out from the old one. This way, with pre52 Supes undoing the creation of some nasty villains and disasters, New52 Superman can have an in-story reason to develop differently over the 5-year gap.

I so do not agree. I tell guys all the time they are bad kissers - a great many are - but NOT in a way that is demeaning or aggressive. Most people don’t know they are bad kissers so it’s not their fault. Lizard Tongue and Mushy Mouth and the like can all be cured in less than one minute.

Right?! The art AND the words are telling a compelling story that I want to keep reading. That’s saying something for a $4 cover price where no one wears a cape.

GMA used to do actual news and then some fluff. Once Diane Sawyer left it started slipping. Now all it does is fluff and then shill for every Disney movie and ABC show that is out there.

I’m not a cosplayer but I love seeing people really get into making a character come to life. This puts a big smile on my face.

All I want to know is when does the 100% accurate historical drama The Lizzie Borden Chronicles come back because that was some ^&%^-ed up $^%#.

That was a great movie! Very intense for a 70’s TV movie at that.
