Isn't it weird that no other Final Fantasy ever had minigames like FF7 did? Sure others have had minigames, but none so intertwined with the main plot of the game while being also so...developed.
I think I missed those because I don't remember seeing any of those games on the Sony conference.

Interesting and awesome! Also it fills me with nostalgia because I remember my old dumb flip-phone from 2006ish had the FF7 Snowboarding mini game. Anybody else remember that release?

Agreed, Wii U is the first console I've skipped on buying at launch since the PS1 (and thats cause I was 15, broke, and a Nintendo fanboy). I'd love a couple good reasons to pick one up.
No kidding. But what I REALLY hated was the fact that pretty much no-one even gave a polite clap when the dude mentioned Tales of Hearts R.

Well, on the RPG side, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Witcher 3 all got some air time.
That's really unfortunate. JRPG is my favorite genre and I was expecting something exciting from Sony, such as Persona 5 footage or a brand new IP. :/
the Japanese developers appear to be having a real hard time with the resources required to produce these games. Which sucks.
