At least part of my enjoyment of this episode was imagining Boseman's haters choking on their bile at how positive and upbeat this episode was.
Marvel... “goggles”.
Aunt May: Peter, you’ll love Mary Jane. She’s got such a great personality.
And their real world counterparts the Qanon supporters lol
Vol 1 #18 in which Doctor Strange becomes a disciple of Dormammu (he turns on him later) sticks in my mind as one of the few early books with a happy ending in a multiverse of darkness.
Username checks out.
I’m glad not every character is a flipping operatic diva. Spoons is perhaps the worst Arrowverse singer since Caitlin Snow.
Um, in the Spanish Civil War La Revolucion was the bad guys, not El Gato and the barmaid. It should be “¡Viva la República!”.
I know it goes without saying but as a (co-)captain she's clearly a colossal improvement over Rip.
Caitlin is a terrible singer.
They COULD make an Iris and Bart spinoff. Ha ha, just kidding.
Thank you Big Nora for giving a tiny burst of speed force to Jesse L Martin so that Joe could actually run towards his car.
Betteridge’s law in full effect here. I think you're asking the right questions though.
They’re the Cushings, and considering we’ll be spending more time with them than with the bad guys going forward, I think they made the right choice.
That happy scene with the Cushings really hit weird for me considering someone just tried to run them out of town. Not so much a contrast with the sombreness of the rest of the episode, as mood whiplash. Especially as it goes right back to the glum main plotline directly afterwards.
I'm sure you'll disagree but I think that Oh You Pretty Things cover they used in Legion worked a little.

How is he going to zip from one side of the galaxy to the other without throwing up?
I think it’s predictable but hilarious that Barry’s messing around with the timeline has done to his own daughter what Flashpoint and Crisis did to Diggle's, i.e. turned them into brother/sister twins (or nearly twins).
