There is no more Mike Dugan. There is only... Drill-boy.

I actually liked Mike this week and was actually rooting for the little shit for once. I’m just glad they didn’t waste time getting Amy Smart onside. She had a Homecoming final scene to Far From Home opening scene arc.
You sound like you’re talking about Titans's Jericho here.
I heard a fan theory that Brainwave Sr. woke up before we saw him wake up and killed the insurance lawyer to help push Lil’ BW over to the dark side. It’s hard to buy it though because his son would’ve been able to read his thoughts and we would’ve heard him as he did it. Or so I figure unless the writers are being…
No wonder the evil grandparents are onto her.
Well, that was a pretty inconsequential episode until the last couple of seconds.

Medium-sized horse? Shortly after meeting Yolanda he triggers a fatal looking brain seizure in a corrupt insurance clerk so I’m not betting on him turning the corner.
The Dallas, GA location looks almost purpose built as a Blue Valley stand-in and presumably the behind the camera talent is more expensive than on the average Arrowverse weekly. Guess we’ll find out for sure once a lot of S2's fights start to take place in that familiar stretch of Vancouver forest.
C’mon, you bastards, quit humanising Mike. Sending us mixed messages and all. Now I don’t know whether to love him or hate him. Goddammit charater arcs...
That’s an excellent point regarding Barb. Hopefully it relegates the Courtney Mahkent theory back into the fan-wank category, although I can’t help wondering whether Johns has some kind of narrative curveball planned regarding her dad as we’ve yet to see it fully confirmed on screen whether it is Pemberton.
Mrs McFly did a terrific job this week. I got no problems with the pacing whatsoever. It looks like everyone’s house and a bunch of public places all have secret doors into the ISA HQ.
As is his quote this week "Until death, it is all life" in case no-one mentioned this.
Geoff Johns and James Dale Robinson could do worse than to mine this period of the comics for storylines. For the former it represents some of his finest work. Writing wise he's fallen a long way since then.
It was a joke at the expense of those Doctor Who fans who insist that you can’t call the show Dr. Who because he isn’t an MD. (These people actually exist in real life.)
Of course he hasn’t in he bref time we've seen him but the opportunity is there provided they follow through with the kind of character develeopment he obviously need if he’s going to be a hero and not an anti-hero “Doesn’t have to” =/= “won’t “.
Mike the demon child has a friend at school called Jakeem.
I feel like the episode stopped just when it was picking up this week, but at least stuff happened.
I disagree with Caroline’s review about the episode being scattershot. For me this was the most eventful and best paced episode of the show so far where previous instalments dragged their heels setting up ISA and high school intrigue.
Pretty Boss (Sophia Johnson) was the bride in last season's Jane Austen episode.
