There were no markers found to indicate saliva or semen. The DNA was very “low signal”—scant in quantity.

‘DNA’ doesn’t mean ‘sperm’. It could be any type of DNA. So the plumbing question isn’t really to the point.
“DNA material” does not have to mean semen, but can include hair or skin cells. I’m hoping you were able to produce those at age 9.
You don’t recall producing microscopic skin cells at 9 years old? Because that is what they found.
Yeah, he definitely didn’t have a $750 million reputation to begin with.
It’s OK, I’m pretty certain that I speak for most Brits when I say we don’t have any idea who Leigh-Anne Pinnock is either.
I’m British. I have no idea who these people are either, but then I avoid the Daily Mail (especially the website’s “sidebar of shame”) as much as I possibly can.
I feel like “very insightful” is some holiday generosity, but sure.
Oh yeah, I remember from History class, the last time the American economy relied on an undocumented workforce. That was for like....200 years starting back in the 1600s. Of course we didn’t pay those folks anything then.
What are the tech workers supposed to do? Not exist? Google and Facebook are in Silicon Valley, and tech workers are people too. Palo Alto could EASILY tell Google and Facebook to leave (literally just rezone the area), but it loves the tech workers and their salaries. They just don’t want tech workers to live there.
It’s super short-sighted NIMBYism. I live in San Jose and I will vote for public housing every chance I get because I don’t want people living on the streets in my neighborhood. I’ve only been here a year and a half (yes I’m ‘part of the problem’ of people moving in but I’ll be leaving again asap) and the problem has…
Wait what? Where did I ever say poor people are stopping new housing? I said the Palo Alto City Council: Palo Alto was a rich suburb even before the tech workers showed up, and its mostly old rich longtime Palo Alto residents who keep development at bay.
I really think that there should be designated affordable housing teachers can use so that they’ll have the option of not having a long commute. That would free them up to participate in the community.
The problem is Palo Alto is so overpopulated (relative to the number of units it has) that the population keeps spilling into East Palo Alto. So yah, Palo Alto needs to build a fuckton more housing to stop displacing residents elsewhere.
The American economy depends on the labor of the two parents. The premise of the United States of American is predicated on workers flocking here from other places. The illegal immigration drives the economy. Undocumented people should not be penalized and instead be treated with respect and be allowed to become…
You can’t drive housing costs down when the population moving to an area is exploding and you are not building anything. Allowing a few towers with a few hundred units is just the beginning. Palo Alto needs THOUSANDS of new units, and zoning plays a part in that. Believe it or not you can, in your zoning rules,…
it’s completely unreasonable that a public school superintendent has so many homeless families living in RVs that she feels the need to open school grounds to those families. It is a wonderful thing for her to do, but it is absolutely unreasonable that it is necessary. This should not be happening. It is immoral,…
We need policies that are practical and grounded in empathy like the ones proposed by Ms Hernandez-Goff. Brava, lady.
The US has more in common with the third world countries we believe ourselves superior to than most are willing to admit.
The “disruption” should be should be a nationwide program to build public housing with a budget the size of the DoD. And the feds should control it, because federalism is stupid. Oh well, guess we have to wait another 20 years or so.
