He doesn’t actually want a child, he wants the support that comes with it. As you say, if he’s so desperate to be a father, there are plenty of ways he can do so. That he wants to be a father to this particular embryo speaks volumes about his true intentions.

Wait. What? Am I missing an important part of sex Ed where we were taught that if a woman (women) have an abortion the man can no longer get pregnant?

I don’t understand what the past abortions have to do with his current ability or inability to have children. His infertility now would be the relevant question unless I’m missing something.
