I SO agree with you on all fronts! I got really excited when they released the DLC roadmap for this year, but once I took a moment I realized I’d definitely need to wait until it’s all out.

Ooh, I get to plug one of my favorite author’s new books! If you haven’t read The Unidentified by Colin Dickey, I HIIIIIGHLY recommend it. He examines a swath of unexplained American phenomena, including the Kentucky Meat Shower, Bigfoot, and UFOs, all through the folklorist/anthropologist lens of what these stories

A long, long, time ago, when I was a wee UglyFishperson, I loved Aquaman. Bought his comics any time I visited my local store. Had action figures, t-shirts, you name it. And this was pre-Momoa, back when he was just a walking punchline for most folks! Needless to say, when the gamecube game came out, I bought it FAST.

Ash, receive this profoundly relevant tiktok with glad tidings and good cheer (if kinja works/my geriatric ass can figure it out)!

Hammer gang showing up to second this.

Well that video absolutely melted my heart.

I’d actually love a suggestion! I’m a Mac gamer, so my options are a little more limited (I need to just bite the bullet and do Bootcamp or something, I know), but I’d love a suggestion for a good story game that floors you. I’m a big fan of Night in the Woods, Disco Elysium, Spiritfarer, Kentucky Route Zero, and Life

Man, if Frosthaven did Kickstarter, nobody’s above it. It’s a good platform that clearly works well for games at every level. Like Nilus said so well, it’s a fancy preordering platform as much as it is a crowdfunding platform in the boardgame industry.

That’s AWESOME! Glad to see this coming back into the world. It’s my favorite Borderlands game and my favorite Telltale game!

God bless you, giant woman. Healing our land through thirst.

Yeah, especially this year! It’s been an awesome year for clearing out the backlog for me. Well...it was until the itch.io bundle gave me final confirmation that I will NEVER clear out my backlog.

Anything from Failbetter is an instant buy from me but I am ABOUT THIS. Sunless Sea/Skies were so much fun but they could also be pretty frustrating with regards to the grindy elements and the need to sit for ten minutes holding the same button (exaggeration, I know) to get to your next destination. Their writers are

I found it to be pretty easy, and I’m pretty bad at platformers. I’d highly recommend it for a cold Saturday evening in. It’s a wonderful, brief gem of a game, so I hope you get to experience it!
