Just because ‘most people associate’ something doesn’t make it right. These are concentration camps, period. And most people, yourself included, are fucking morons

Thanks for telling the author of the article what the topic of the article they wrote is actually suppose to be about. Please let us know when the amount of kids that have died in Trump’s camps reach a level where you, a concentration camp expert, feel that the comparison is justified.
Put concentration camps in quotations if you want, but the fact of the matter is, what is happening at our southern border is the exact definition of a concentration camp. Concentration camps do not have to include the deaths of individuals to be considered as such. The fact that you seem to care so little about ANY…
They’re literally the definition. Sorry you don’t care because they don’t “look like you”.
Nobody is arguing that they’re the same as Nazi death camps. But they don’t need to be Nazi death camps in order to be concentration camps. You can read more about why experts call these concentration camps here.
A ‘concentration camp’ is a place that is designed to hold a person, specifically a minority.
They literally fit the definition of concentration camps (and so were what we so delicately attempted to call internment camps in the US in WWII). Putting the phrase in scare quotes twice in one post won’t magically change that. You don’t get to gatekeep the term just because you don’t like the association it draws.
Children are dying of preventable illness in U.S. concentration camps--at least six (that we know of) since Trump took office. Zero children died in U.S. custody in the 10 years before that.
A place where people are concentrated and held are concentration camps. The US concentration camps are a violation of international law and US law. You know... they also called the Japanese internment camps Concentration Camps.
My mother was born to survivors who were still in Germany. I learned the history first hand. I’m with Matt Novak on this. Also, I’d have more relatives still alive on my father’s side if the U.S. hadn’t closed its doors on emigration from Eastern Europe. Trumpsters are no friends of the Jews, but they pretend, and…
I guarantee you there’s far fewer deaths in our “concentration camps” than would have other wised perished under the care of their “parents”.
He’d probably remove the plaque and put a Trump sign up instead.
In the post-game press conference, Cliff Cingsbury was upset over officials’ refusal to stop the game clock after Cardinals first downs. “I know this is a new concept, heck, it isn’t even supposed to happen according to the rule book,” the coach told the assembled media, “but the refs really need to catch up with the…
Larry Fitzgerald, postgame
He’s determined to deliver the offseason championship Oakland expects.
While this would be hilarious, as a native Bostonian who knows how racist this region can be and how awful and insufferable its pro sports fans are, trust when I say these motherfuckers would riot before they ever let him on the field.
Oh please, like he’s better than Nathan Peterman or Blake bottles...
