    this may be a bit of a banal observation, but i think this may have been one of the best-paced episodes of tv i have ever seen. it felt long enough to be a feature film, and i know that sounds like it dragged, but it didn’t. the dramatic beats were just so well done that they had time to breathe and the result was an

    philip’s workman-like humping was unintentionally funny for me. it also seemed wholly unnecessary, so when the scene cut to that, all i could do was laugh.

    i agree, or at least i agree with what i think you are saying. like how all i needed was to hear the premise of Sophie’s Choice to know she let the girl die. a kid going into the foster system is better off dead.
