    honestly i think part of the effect comes from how the photo is cropped.

    i didn’t fail anyone. i really hate it when people write “we” like that.

    same here, except i include rapists without exception to age of target. being raped is the great equalizer. the proof of one’s vulnerability is in the crime itself, and innocence is not a factor. in fact, lack of innocence seems to make the weight of the crime heavier on the victims due to victim-blaming.

    i filed it away in my memory, then years later, everyone acted like she was completely at fault. because of polanski, i never forget, and i take the original accusation seriously.
