I think if a man did the same thing as in the above GIF, we’d hear quite a bit about it. That man would most likely be Javale McGee.

You know, I like Jezebel. But if I were them—considering what happened, oh, just a day ago—I’d probably lay off the ethically-dubious assaults on people’s sexuality for at least a week or two.

“Shit, we sent the Mariners to three different planets as a matter of fact”

You mean Neptune?

“Um, we sent the Vikings to Mars forty years ago.”

Also consider that Pluto’s gravity is 1/12 that of Earth. Using their Terran-strengthened muscles, the leaping catches and flying tackles would make the players look superhuman by comparison.

Pluto also has the same amount of Super Bowls wins as Minnesota.

Only if we can move the Redskins to the Oort Cloud.

Fucking disgusting behavior, although I guess it’s preferable to the bags of urine they toss down at Stadium Azteca...

Major score for karma, seeing them drop that goal amidst a bunch of douchebag fans throwing trash at a player in the middle of a live game.

There hasn’t been that much garbage thrown on a field in Charlotte since Jimmy Clausen was playing quarterback.

Kind of unfair to make them play Trinidad AND Tobago at the same time.

When I say it out loud, it sounds lame, but we ran a massive adult kickball league down here in Baltimore. Still thriving, like 4,000 people playing per season.

i truly had no idea there was such a massive / passionate kickball community on deadspin...you learn something new every day!

Michael Sam plays for neither of these teams. I don't get the joke. Or is the fact he's gay, just its own punchline for you?

The problem is, WWE announcing is mostly pretty bad. And it’s increasingly clear that it is Vince McMahon’s fault

I was going to say “I eagerly await the men coming in here with their mouths watering, chomping at the bit for this glorious occassion when they can explain how they’re morally required to punch a woman because she attempted to land a punch first.” But then I saw that they were already here. You gotta act fast at

I find the comments on this article almost as interesting as the content. People are divided between “wow, that was so kind of her” and “wow, what a heartless s.o.b.” I think what is throwing some of us off is her smile. It’s not the sad smile that you give to someone when you are trying to empathize. Yes she has to

I agree she comes across as cold, but I also took her shuffling the papers, etc. as her trying to give him some privacy once he broke down. It’s a terrible and awkward situation, I imagine I would have reacted similarly. I mean, what can you say?

Actually I found her really condescending and cold. His reaction was certainly emotional and sad, but she was actually smiling! She had zero emotion and almost seemed smug.
